Wall Mounted Flags in Dubai

Wall mounted flags attach to a bracket fixed to a wall, projecting outward so the flag is visible along a street rather than standing on the ground, which suits busy shopfronts and office facades across Dubai. They are commonly used on buildings facing busy roads specifically to catch attention from passing pedestrians and traffic.

We print wall mounted flags using dye-sublimation on a UV treated polyester, the same fabric and process behind our full outdoor flags range, so colour is embedded in the fibre rather than sprayed on top. On a shopfront that faces direct sun for most of the day, this matters more than the bracket or size, since a surface print will visibly dull within a season while a sublimated flag holds its colour much longer. We recommend replacing a wall mounted flag on a busy sun facing frontage roughly once a year to keep the branding sharp.

Sizes typically run from small formats around 60cm by 90cm for a single shopfront bracket up to larger 100cm by 200cm formats for wider facades, and several brands and malls in Dubai mount two or three side by side along a storefront for a stronger visual line. Double sided printing is available so the flag reads clearly from either direction along the street, and we can supply the bracket along with the flag or advise on a compatible option if fittings are already installed.

A wall mounted flag sits closer to the building, so it takes less direct wind load than a hoisting flag on a tall freestanding pole, though it still needs a properly rated bracket since wind funnels unpredictably between buildings in dense parts of the UAE. For a cafe with outdoor seating and no usable street facing wall, terrace flags placed within the seating area itself are often the better option.
